SDCC 10 Photos: Castle

There is no man on television I love more than Nathan Fillion. So you know I wasn’t turning down the chance to attend the Castle press room at Comic-Con. And, as much as I enjoyed talking with the guys from Supernatural, I’m pretty bummed I chose that over the Castle panel. I heard it was great. My only consolation is the rumors of the line to get into that room. I must cling to the belief I wouldn’t have made it in even if I’d managed to drag myself out of bed in time! (Let me have my delusions.)

What I did not expect was just how much I’d love Molly C. Quinn. Of course, it shouldn’t have been that surprising since the relationship between Castle and Alexis is one of my favorite parts of the show. Still, I was unprepared for just how adorable Molly is in person. People, she wore a Star Trek costume! And she looked awesome in it. How can you not love her?

I’d wax poetic about Nathan except, well, that’d be redundant and I wouldn’t say I truly met the man. I did sit across the table from him and that was close enough to tie my tongue. We only got a few minutes with him because, as you might imagine, he’s in high demand in a press room. But it was long enough to get his thoughts on heroes and how he prefers heroes who are human and have flaws. He cited Indiana Jones as one of the first examples of this and I may have swooned a little on the inside. I’m officially a fangirl.

Anyway, here are some of the photos I got in the room. Note how freaking beautiful Stana Katic is! I suspect they prefer to keep her harder looking on the show but I love love love her longer hair.
