Rae’s 2009 Fall TV Schedule

Getting ready for Fall TV.With the new Fall season knocking on the front door, it’s time to figure out exactly what the heck I plan to watch. I’m pretty proud of myself. I’ve cut out A LOT of TV over the past year. Even if y’all revoke my TV whore title as a result, I’m much happier with my overall schedule. And it could use some more whittling down.

But that’ll come.

Here’s how my final Fall schedule is shaping up. Anything in bold has earned a permanent spot on my schedule. Those not in bold but still black are ones I’m confident will be sticking around based on what I’ve seen (or enjoyed in the past). Greyed out items are shows I’m giving three or four episodes to win me over. Not all of them are equal either. Some had pilots that surprised me despite not liking the earlier clips I had seen or the sound of the show. Others had horrendous pilots but I want to like them. And the rest sounded great and had good preview clips but the pilots were only OK.

I will admit I don’t actually want to keep all the greyed out items. But it’s hard to let go of that desire to give everything a shot. I don’t want to miss out on the next great show, ya know?

Anyway, we’ll see how it all turns out in a few weeks. For now, the schedule…

Nice picks! A few I will be watching, including Fringe, The Office, Sunny, etc… full list on right sidebar of my site, Hollywood the Write Way. I’m soooo excited for the new fall season! I will be watching a lot on demand, hulu, and official websites since a lot of shows overlap :/ as always.

Oohh, I’m impressed! You have really cut back. :)

Other than Greek our Monday nights are the same. I do hate that they put that big gap in the middle of the Monday night funnies tho.

Overall it seems we watch less and less of the same shows every year. Sad. At least we have Dollhouse. :D

We have Glee too, don’t we? And Being Erica because we both love that one.

And Chuck! I think it’s partly because things just aren’t on the schedule yet. Altho I do think you’d like V.

Yes, we have Glee. I’m so happy there is a Glee for us to have! I just don’t know when Being Erica is actually going to start.

And we also have Supernatural, and I have all the grayed out new shows on my potential list as well.

Next year we’ll have Chuck, and LOST!

Mondays – Heroes, The Big Bang Theory and maybe DWTS
    Tuesdays – catch up w/DVR
Wednesdays – ANTM, Glee and will check out Cougar Town, The Middle (and just because I love Kelsey Grammar) Hank
    Thursdays – FlashForward, The Office
Fridays – Ugly Betty, Medium when UB goes into reruns
    Saturdays – DVR
    Sundays – DEXTER!!!, Desperate Housewives
