Three cheers for the return of Chuck!! I love it. And NBC is crediting the passionate fans for being part of the reason they brought it back. Though it seems more likely that fans actually got advertisers involved and that’s what made a case for the show. Either way, I’m just happy it’ll be back. Frustrating to have to wait until next MARCH (which is when the Winter Olympics will be done disrupting our NBC schedule) but that’s certainly better than no Chuck at all. Right?

Rae! The early schedule had 30 Rock in MNIE’s slot, but now it’s back where it’s been, opposite Supernatural and now Fringe! MY DVR CANNOT HANDLE THIS MADNESS WAAAH.

And they’re moving Heroes up to 8, huh? And holding Chuck till midseason. So is Heroes still getting a full season? That schedule ostensibly looks like watching Heroes would add no extra burden to my schedule since it would simply be taken over by Chuck later on, and yet…I think it’s time to part ways anyway.

WOW is that a sorry excuse for a schedule! And is Heroes really only going until mid-season?

    Rae says:

Yes, 30 Rock is staying at 9:30 vs SPN and Fringe. But it’ll be back a little later than the other shows. (Which is how it was this year as well.)

Yes, moving it and it will be done before the Olympics according to Ben Silverman.

@deathisyourart: I think they plan to do no-rerun type of schedule with Heroes, hence while it’ll be done mid-season.

    deathisyourart says:

That would explain the shortened season order; I believe they only get 18 episodes next year.

    Rae says:

Yep, that’s right. I couldn’t remember what the number was… I suspect this is their last shot. If they can’t get their numbers up with this new season, it may be the last we see of Heroes. (Totally my speculation, not based on anything I know.)

I wouldn’t be surprised if ABC had enough of Heroes; I only catch up at the end of the seasons, and even then just so that I know what is going on inside of fanvids. I could save even more time if I just forwarded through every scene not containing Zachary Quinto. :P

    Boo! Bring back Life!

    Rae says:

    Alas, Spads, it’s a goner.

    Stella says:

Hmmm…no more Earl. That’s a bit of a shock. Although I wasn’t able to watch it last season and the shows I’ve DVR’d this season were a bit–shall we say, scatological for the 8 pm hour.
