State of the Programming

state-chuckWhen discussing how busy life has gotten, and how that has resulted in a  lack of time for TV viewing (and a severe lack of time for TV posting!), I mentioned to Rae that the only way I could give my thoughts on TV these days was if I did really mini-reviews. But even that seemed a little too ambitious, so I thought maybe I’d aim for one-thought-reviews.  So, here you have some very short, overall thoughts on the State of the Programming.

The Big Bang Theory: This show makes me laugh really hard every week.

How I Met Your Mother: Even when it’s not that funny, the characters are fantastic so it’s always worth watching.

Chuck: Is the best thing on and I want a third season, so get watching!!

Heroes: I’m three weeks behind, I think that says it all.

Castle: Nathan Fillion could read me tax laws and I’d love it.

Cupid: So far it’s predictable, but I’m still hoping it’ll go from not bad to great.

90210: Yeah, I still watch, and no, I don’t know why.

Being Erica: Absolove this show and I already miss it.

Better Off Ted: Makes me lol. Portia de Rossi is the bomb, and the scientists guys are brilliant(ly funny).

Lost: So amazing it consumes my thoughts, but seriously… WTF is going on?

Grey’s Anatomy: The behind-the-scenes drama is tiring, the on-screen drama is tired.

Supernatural: Hot, sexy, funny and they kill bad things. What more could you want?

30 Rock: Always funny, but often forgettable these days.

Dollhouse: I like it, so shut it.
There you have it folks! A whole week in review.

It’s like Twitter TV and you know it! (not that there is anything wrong with that at all!) I am the opposite of you – trying to find time to actually read books (with pages) I am going to finish one tonight! I swear! Oh, have fun at Paley!

Fun read. I may not agree with all your thoughts but I enjoyed reading them.

I’ve just recently jumped on The Big Bang Theory bandwagon. Yay for DVR! It’s so hysterical.

Cupid pales in comparison to the original (Bobby Cannavale is horribly miscast. He’s an endearing lug, but that’s totally wrong for the character…), but it does manage to make me mist up at the happy endings.

I gave up on Grey’s in season two.

And of course I completely concur with you on LOST!
