Supernatural’s Mystery Spot: Wow! Fun! Unbelievable!

Sam and Dean in SUPERNATURAL, “Mystery Spot,” airing this Thursday at 9PM on the CW.I just got done watching “Mystery Spot” the brand-new episode of Supernatural that airs this Thursday at 9PM on the CW (watch two preview clips from the episode) and it is awesome. And you guys know I wouldn’t lie. I wasn’t nearly as in love with last week’s episode as everyone else but this week’s blew me away. It’s got humor but also pulls at your heartstrings. Jared does a really great job with what he’s got to play here and I just know all of you are going to love it.

I obviously can’t give you any details about what happens but I can say it should spark some good discussions about what exactly the demons out there are trying to do. I’m a bit curious if the demon at the heart of the episode is friend or foe. I can’t quite tell and I think it’s intentionally mysterious. I have to admit, I haven’t been all that into the story arc involving Sam and the other demons so far this season. I’m not sure if that’s just because of a desire not to be too invested in case the strike went on too long to get any kind of resolution within the next several months or because they haven’t really done much to get me interested.

Not that it really matters because this episode finally drew me in… I’m such a sucker for the hint of a mystery. The little hints we’re getting that all the demons out there are positioning themselves for some fight the boys weren’t even aware would happen are just enough to get me wondering exactly what’s going on while Sam and Dean concentrate on saving Dean. Sounds like that’s just what the demons needed, our boys distracted with their own issues.

And I’ve gone off on a tangent… which is a good sign for Thursday. Good episodes always get me thinking.

So, don’t forget, Thursday, 9PM, on the CW, brand-new episode of Supernatural, “Mystery Spot.” You don’t want to miss it!

Wait a second… How in the hell did you get a copy of tonight’s episode early? Are you holding out on me, bosslady?

P.S. Jeremy Carver wrote it, right? Not surprised that you loved it since HE IS AWESOME.

[...] it means I don’t have to fight anyone else for control of the TV and am free to curl up with the Winchester boys at 9PM on the CW or get Lost on an island with Sayid over on ABC.   Happy Valentine’s [...]
