I think it was more like a hundred years.

Ok, I haven’t been missing for 100 years like Aang (FAR from it) but I feel like I’ve been trapped in a block of ice for that long. I am on an insane deadline at work right now and am off for a week as of next Wednesday. Needless to say, there has been no time for posting or answering emails breaks. Hell, it’s a good day if I remember to stop and go to the bathroom once a day.

Plus, my parents are coming up to see my new place on Saturday so all of my “off” time (in between my shows, of course, I mean… I am still me) has been spent trying to get my extra bedroom unpacked. The ‘rents aren’t actually staying for the night but who knows when they’ll be here again so I’d like the place to look good for ‘em.

Anyway. That is just a quick update. If you’re waiting on an email from me, I swear I’m not ignoring you. Just drowning in work and boxes. In the meantime, here’s a quick-n-dirty list of TV stuff:

  • Greg tells me that I should make sure y’all know (and he’s right) that iTunes has the Jericho pilot for free download. You know I’m a fan and I’m so happy that the show is returning (and so is the cast based on the pictures of them at the TCAs today) so here’s your chance to become a fan too.

  • Seeing J’Doh on the Moonlight panel makes me happy and sad at the same time. Given David Greenwalt’s recent comments about the show, I’m eager to see what he’s done with it and I hope it succeeds for Jason’s sake (and others’!). However, no more Logan. [insert sad Rae face here]
  • Uh, oh yeah, Emmy nominations were announced today. I don’t really care much about reward shows but it is nice to see NPH getting the recognition he deserves. Jenna too. Plus, Avatar! Oh, and Boston Legal! I know people hate that BL gets Emmy nods but they do deserve it so it makes me happy.
  • Mad Men starts tonight. So many people seem excited about it but I have so much going on that I haven’t been paying much attention to it. I’m taping it but it may end up being what I watch on the plane to LA. Anyone else watching? I’ll be interested to see what people think about it.
  • Since when do I have multiple shows on every night of the week during the summer? It’s insane. I love and hate it. Meanwhile, I totally got Mo hooked on Age of Love and she’s loving it just as much as I am. This is why it’s dangerous to leave me alone near your DVRs!
  • I’m excited for HP7. I want to save it for the plane but I don’t know if I can wait that long, especially with everyone talkng about it. Sigh.

Crap. I know there was more but this hasn’t been nearly as quick as I needed it to be and I still need to eat dinner so I’ll stop now. Hopefully I’ll get a handle on my work tomorrow and my temporary blog hiatus will be over soon.

Good luck surviving this week before SD. I need to get your number at some point, I feel like. Since Kelley is leaving after you’re back in LA, I’m more than willing to hang out with you sometime on Monday afternoon if you’re up for it.

Who hates that BL gets Emmy nods? This makes me sad. :/ Although I’m amazed about the misconceptions I’ve read about it (“David E. Kelley using his influence” — but it’s the show’s third year and it hasn’t been nominated at any other time). And you can’t deny the acting by its three nominees (Spader, Shatner and the awesome Christian Clemenson [Jerry]). The acting is what makes the show. :D

Eeeee, have tons of fun at Comic Con — can’t wait for your reaction to “Bionic Woman.” :)

You are going to post every single detail about Jason right? Because I must know everything. But don’t feel pressured or anything, okay?

NPH got an emmy nod! Yea! Numfar, start dancing.

Good luck with all the deadlines.
