It’s old school… like you.

Hey. (Sorry, thanks to [info]cdn_tvaddict, any time I say that these days I think of this video.)

I’m cold. I know that’s wrong of me and y’all can make fun of me as much as you want but it’s 55 here in Orlando and I’m freezing. I woke up warm but I’ve been losing that warmth ever since. And all of you could care less about this! But I don’t have much else to talk about. I only got caught up on one show last night and fell behind on several more because I was – wait for it – cold (and tired) and went to bed early.

Quickly, my thoughts on Monday’s What About Brian. I liked it. Nothing really stands out to talk about but it was a solid episode. I was slightly disturbed by two different relationships progressing that I don’t really… well, care for isn’t the right word. More like I feel kind of “icky” watching them. Brian and the girl from work because of how she slept with his Dad and I can’t imagine ever sleeping with a guy who has slept with mom – especially if he had just slept with her that year. Then there’s Dave and the 20 yr old sandwich girl. Ehhh. She seems nice enough but she is way too young for him. I feel like the show can’t make up it’s mind about Dave and Deena. Sometimes it feels like they are leaning towards getting them back together and then they spend several episodes fighting about stupid stuff and remind us all why they’re better off apart. I like that they finally resolved the stripper stuff with Adam and Summer. Not that Summer shouldn’t be free to do whatever she wants but I imagine it would be a hard job for a husband to accept his wife having.

AND, finally, the very last part solved the mystery of why Sarah is still in the credits. I had just noticed that again this week and wondering if she was ever going to make another appearance or if they were just too lazy to make the update. Wonder how she’s going to shake things up? Also, it’s kind of weird watching Rosanna playing a mother here after I was just reminded that she plays Cheri on The L Word. Night and day, those roles. She does a great job capturing both but it was a little surreal watching her go through the struggle of becoming a mother and having her baby after having just watched her snorting up coke the other night!

On the schedule for tonight*: Armed & Famous, Knights of Prosperity*, and In Case of Emergency*

* IMPORTANT SCHEDULING NOTE: The president will be addressing the nation about his Iraq Plan at 9PM so expect all 9PM shows and the shows that follow to be knocked off schedule. My radio station was interviewing David Arquette re: In Case of Emergency this morning and the DJ noted that the show would be on following Knights of Prosperity but that they would both be pushed back following the president’s speech. Make sure you set your TiVOs/DVRs to record the show following all of your favorites if you don’t want anything cut off in the middle.

Heh. Exactly. I had put extra blankets on the bed and I wore my fuzzy socks and thick sweats and a long sleeve shirt to bed so I was nice and cozy when I woke up… then I actually had to get out of bed and change into something work appropriate and it went downhill.

Awww, I thought about that as I was making my list. :) I have a feeling they may cut one of the shows since I’m sure his speech will last at least 30 minutes. Sigh.

*hugs you back for the same reason*

i know how it is for you guys in florida. 55 degrees really is pretty cold by some standards. i feel like i wimp complaining about the thirties in texas to my friends in the northeast, but that’s just the way it is. it doesn’t make me any less freezing.

    good luck getting warm again…
