Ewe’s not fat, Ewe’s fluffy!

Hello TS Alberto feeder bands. You are making my office very dark. I’d really rather not drive through you so could you try to move on by 5? Thanks!

Sorry I have been MIA lately. I’ve read everything but haven’t left many comments. My only excuse is that I am working on some personal stuff and I’m not ready to talk about it yet because 1) I don’t want to jinx myself, 2) it takes too many words to explain, and 3) I sometimes feel self-conscious about the whole thing.

Two of my closest friends leave for Japan tomorrow. Two whole weeks in Japan. I’m a little jealous but mostly excited for them. I only hope this tropical storm doesn’t interfere with their travel plans.

We had a field trip today to Mid Florida Tech to take pictures of brake system parts and for a demo of working truck air brake system. As usual, much more fascinating than it sounds. On our way back, we had lunch at the mall and I strolled around in Urban Outfitters for a spell. They have this great Paul Frank shirt that made me think of . I almost bought it but I resisted the urge. (Translation: I bought a different shirt and couldn’t justify spending over $50 for two t-shirts so I put the lamb one back.)

What else can I bore you with? My parents bought a new Sleep Number bed last week and offered me their old king mattress and box springs. I, being extremely predictable when it comes to free furniture from friends and family, took them up on that offer. At the last minute, they decided to bring it up to me on Friday afternoon. Very comfy! I already knew that, though, as I’ve slept on it numerous times. However, I am a huge sheet snob and, while I have king size quilts, I have no king size sheets. This meant I spent the weekend looking around for a good deal on some nice sheets. I finally found some for a price I liked at TJ Maxx. I had a 20% off coupon for Bed Bath and Beyond but it wasn’t going to lower the price enough – especially since they were the same thread count. So, instead I used that coupon to get a new vacuum cleaner which, admittedly, works fabulously but cost a pretty penny. Somehow it’s just not as fun to spend money on cleaning instruments as it is on frivolous swag.

Ok. I think that’s about it. I did have a comment about the anonymous meme things going around but that’ll have to wait until I have more time.

Oh, wait. One last thing… do you like Mars Investigations? Do you find it helpful for all your Veronica Mars needs? Well, great, now they need our help. Check it out and donate if you’ve got a few dollars to spare because they do great work and definitely deserve the helping hand.

I saw that shirt a couple months ago at Urban Outfitters! Even considered getting it, but it is a man’s shirt and looked huge. It’s really cute, though. Fun you thought of ROL!

Yeah, even their smallest man shirt sizes would be huge on you. The one I had in my hands was actually a dark blue which is a shame because I probably would have bought it if it had been brown. It’s so cute, though. Oh. Who am I kidding – you know I’ll go back in a week or two and get it. ;)

Aw, thanks for asking people to donate. I just realized that, um, I guess I should probably post about that.
