A present for me!

So.

Oh. This is so gonna be another VM post because I’m a sad little obsessed girl.

My mom? Now plans to arrive next Thursday rather than staying with me all week. This is, in equal parts, sad and good. Sad because I was looking forward to her being there at night and getting to watch my shows with her. Good because I volunteered to fill in for Sue over at S3 and do a guest review of next week’s VM episode… now I can focus on the show and re-watch as many times as I want without driving my mom mad – especially since it would mean depriving her of LOST.

What I really want to say… Next week’s episode? Totally a present to me! Yep, I’m claiming it so keep your grubby hands off. Thursday is my birthday so it’s like Rob ordered this one up just for me so I can start my birthday off the best way possible.

I’m crazy, it’s true, but I’ve just watched the opening scene several times and I’m all bouncy. Is it Wednesday yet?

I can throw no stones. VM’s landed on my birthday the last two years running. Those are totally Presents for Mars. I defy anyone who says different.

I certainly don’t say any different. Totally Presents for Mars. This is how it should be. Makes me sad for people who don’t get these type of presents.

But, also, I’m glad you can’t throw stones ‘cuz that’d hurt.

The opening scene is KILLING ME, it’s so great.

    “What’s your poison?”
    “Emotionally unavailable women.”

So the opening scene is good? Yay! Because the promo didn’t make it look like the episode was going to be stellar.

I KNOW! I should have waited to watch because I want the new episode now.

    Heh. I love that line.

Yes, very good. I agree on the promo. I was having difficulty even following that but this has given me great hope for the episode.

I know – isn’t that a great opening scene? I can’t wait to read the Rae review.
