On the way into work today, my morning show DJs discussed a multitude of topics, Lost moving to Tuesdays being one of them. Later one of the DJs made some offhand comment and the other DJ picked out two words she said and proclaimed they’d make a great band name. This moment was not at all related to the Lost news but somehow my brain connected them and I thought of DriveSHAFT.
Then, because this is how my brain works, I started thinking about what I’d name my band if I had one. Surely it’d a TV related name, right? And because I still had Lost on the brain, I concluded that I’d probably dig a band called, The Others. Their first album would probably be titled: The Dharma Initiative. Or maybe Swan Station? Can’t decide if their debut song would be “Pushing the Button” or “4 8 15 16 23 42.”
For today’s Friday Fun, I thought we’d continue with the fun I was having on my morning commute. Using TV as the inspiration, let’s come up with names for our imaginary bands. And, if you need a little creative nudge, here are the names of a few fake TV bands:
